Explore gentle somatic movement, restorative yoga postures, and breath practices to create space where grief can be felt safely and compassionately, without overwhelming us. The practices honor emotions as energy in motion. By bringing awareness, breath, and mindful movement together, we can express, release, and re-integrate the powerful waves of sadness, anger, or longing that accompany grief. This is a non linear journey. There are no such things as "stages or steps to overcome grief or get over it: Grief is not just about pain—it can also be a doorway to meaning. It's a journey of love, memory, and growth, rather than something to “fix.” Last but not least, we'll invite creativity—through drawing, writing, movement, and sound—as a way to give form to what words cannot always capture.
These therapeutic yoga, somatic, and expressive arts practices do not replace counseling or psychotherapy. They are potent complementary tools that engage the physical- emotional-mental-spiritual bodies as well as the neuronal-emotional web.
