Sonia Ratto

Sonia Ratto (MA, MBA, RYT) is a yoga educator, somatic and expressive arts facilitator who supports people to navigate modern complexity, reconnect with their bodies, navigate life with greater resilience, and access their own capacity to heal and evolve.

Sonia specializes in working with adults navigating emotional healing, recovery from illness or injury, and periods of transition. Her work supports those experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, grief, hormonal shifts, insomnia, depression, a sense of disconnection from themselves, a lack of direction.

Sonia's work is rooted in the Life/Art Process© created by Anna & Daria Halprin (Tamalpa Institute, California).

Through intimate group settings and one-on-one sessions, Sonia offers a highly personalized approach that integrates yoga, somatic awareness, expressive arts, and connection to nature. Her teaching invites students to move beyond performance and into deep listening—where the body becomes a pathway for regulation, insight, and transformation.

MORE ABOUT SONIA

True alignment isn’t found by reaching outside of yourself for answers—it is found in how deeply you dive within and move through your own lived experience.

In a culture that constantly tells you to look outward for validation, healing, the next perfect formula or quick fix, true transformation demands a complete shift in direction: inward.

Through Ocotillo Moon, I integrate ancient yogic and shamanic lineage traditions, somatic intelligence, and expressive arts into cohesive containers for individual and collective evolution. The journey is not about searching for an elusive cure or mastering someone else's method; it is about learning to stay present, trust your body's inherent wisdom, and safely move through exactly what is here.

Whether working through yoga alignment and therapeutics, somatic movement, and expressive arts, the work supports physical resilience, emotional balance, and a deeper connection to self.

"I’ve been attending sessions since October 2025. If you haven’t tried I strongly recommend taking a class! Sonia provides guidance in each movement and shows her passion in teaching. I notice the aches and pains are no longer a main concern and I feel stronger and have better flexibility. I can’t praise enough how awesome her classes are."

"Sonia is an exceptionally skilled teacher. What I appreciate most is that the focus is not on performance or achieving perfect poses, but on developing a deeper connection with my body and myself. Every class leaves me feeling more relaxed, grounded, and balanced. If you are looking for a more personal, intelligent, and therapeutic approach to yoga, I highly recommend Sonia."
