Yoga Course - Module A - Beginner / Intermediate

Welcome to the Beginners/ Intermediate Yoga Course. It's a wonderfully constructed course inspired from the genius of B.K.S Iyengar's work and passed to me by my wonderful yoga master teacher, Cat de Rham. It's really worth committing weekly to that course as each teaching builds on the last. New poses, new alignments, new ways of understanding... If practiced as suggested incredible structure, strength and fluidity will be ignited, along with a deep life-long understanding of the hows and whys of Asana. Hope that those of you who have wanted to follow a course and feel a sense of evolution in their practice will join me here. Please do let me know your experience as I always love to hear from you.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A YOGA COURSE. THE CLASS DURATION IS 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES

Yoga & Embodied Arts for Grief and Losses

Explore gentle somatic movement, restorative yoga postures, and breath practices to create space where grief can be felt safely and compassionately, without overwhelming us. The practices honor emotions as energy in motion. By bringing awareness, breath, and mindful movement together, we can express, release, and re-integrate the powerful waves of sadness, anger, or longing that accompany grief. This is a non linear journey. There are no such things as "stages or steps to overcome grief or get over it: Grief is not just about pain—it can also be a doorway to meaning. It's a journey of love, memory, and growth, rather than something to “fix.” Last but not least, we'll invite creativity—through drawing, writing, movement, and sound—as a way to give form to what words cannot always capture.

These therapeutic yoga, somatic, and expressive arts practices do not replace counseling or psychotherapy. They are potent complementary tools that engage the physical- emotional-mental-spiritual bodies as well as the neuronal-emotional web.

Shamanic Trance Dance

Shamanic Trance Dance is a powerful practice that combines movement, rhythm, and breath to guide us into an altered state of consciousness. For thousands of years, shamans have used drumming, music, and intention to “cross over” into deeper realms of awareness. The word trance itself comes from the Latin transire, meaning “to cross over.”

In a trance dance, participants move with purpose to rhythmic music while using conscious breathing to expand their awareness. This state—sometimes called an ecstatic or altered state of consciousness—can open the door to healing, insight, and transformation. It supports spiritual awakening, strengthens the body, balances emotions, and clears the mind. More than just dance, it is a healing ritual: the music is created specifically to carry you inward, and the movement becomes a journey of release, connection, and renewal.

Shamanic Trance Dance Sessions will be offered every two weeks.
